"A storm is coming. This is the big one.

Sadly, many Adventist are growing weary with those who insist the end is near. Still others fear the approaching tempest and wait joylessly for the "Time of Trouble" and the "Close of Probation."

But despite the sound of distant thunder, most don't know what's coming.

With compelling evidence from Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy, Marvin Moore suggests that the greatest crisis in human history is about to break upon us with startling speed and ferocity. He also shows how each of us can keep our relationships with Jesus during earth's darkest hour.

Not since Preparation for the Final Crisis has there been such a forceful, yet easy-to-understand explanation of the vital issues our church and our world are about to face. The Crisis of the End Time will help you walk with Jesus today and through the coming storm without fear.

Marvin Moore is acquisitions book editor for Pacific Press. He has served fifteen years as a pastor and authored twenty-three books, including “The Refiner's Fire."

  Marvin Moore

A self-proclaimed ""work-a-holic,"" Marvin Moore is the hardworking editor of Signs of the Times magazine, and a prolific author with more than 20 books to his credit. If he's not writing, Marvin is on an airplane en-route to one of his many appointments as a seminar speaker. Marvin's knowledge of Bible prophecy and end-time events keep him in constant demand as a speaker at churches and camp meetings in the U.S. and internationally.

Prior to his career in editing and writing, Marvin worked as a pastor for 15 years in California and Texas.

He earned an MA degree in Church History from Andrews University in 1961 and and M.Div. degree in 1969 from the same university. Later, in 1974, he earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing degree from the University of Dallas.

For fun, Marvin and his wife Lois enjoy hiking (""especially day hikes--I like my comfortable bed too much to do overnight backpacking!""), snow skiing, and cruising around the desert in his Toyota 4Runner.
