Jim Ponder lives in Ventura, California with his wife Lupe. Ponder has been involved in ministry most of his life, as well as public relations. He has been editor of various newsletters and written for Collegiate Quarterly. He has a degree in journalism from Loma Linda University. Ponder’s passion is black and white landscape photography. He founded Southwest Exploratory Photography Workshops and has written a textbook on landscape photography. His own photographs have been exhibited at art galleries in Carmel and Santa Barbara, California. He currently works with the elderly at Ventura Estates. Ponder feels privileged to have worked with the Harris’, whom he has known for several years, on this book.
