Keith Knoche and Jeff Wood began their song-writing collaboration back in 1969 while students at Pacific Union College. Keith had written songs like "Pass Along Love" and "Gone Fishin", and Jeff had composed the popular "Side By Side" and others. Their mutual respect and appreciation of each other’s musical skills is what finally brought them together to combine their talents.Keith Knoche is a "preacher’s kid" and the product of a musical family. At an early age he began keyboard instruments and guitar. His first musical compositions were published and performed while Keith was still in high school. "Prayer of Our Lord" was a favorite rendition of the Heralds Quartet, and "O, Praise the Lord Ye Nations" was performed by Zubin Mehtah and the L. A. Philharmonic. Keith has gone on to write more than seventy-five songs that have been recorded and performed by various artists.
Keith, his wife, Lenette, and his dad, Philip, routinely do concerts in Christian venues. His interests include water-color painting, collecting signatures and documents of famous people, model railroading, golf, and racquetball. He also is the proud owner of two incredible talking parrots – George and Dudley.
Jeff Wood is also a P.K. (preacher’s kid) and was raised in a family with a rich heritage of music. At an early age, Jeff was composing on keyboards and guitar.
Jeff is a graduate of Pacific Union College. He then toured with the Heritage Singers for three years. It was during this time that Jeff developed and refined his skills for composition and music production. To date he has arranged and produced more than one hundred albums for various artists on various labels.
His directing and producing skills were refined during his tenure at "Faith for Today," and subsequently he lent his considerable expertise to television and movie production. More recently, Jeff has done directing, production, and editing of major motion pictures for both television and the silver screen. Screen-writing is both a hobby and profession.
Jeff’s greatest joy comes from his family – his wife, Gerry, and son and daughter, Jeremy and Jill. Jeff enjoys astronomy and flying remote-control helicopters and aircraft.
