Belko Brass
Music was very much a part of Ivan and Boris Belko’s lives as they were
growing up in the Northwest in the 1950’s. They were involved with various
musical organizations and evangelistic series throughout their high school and
college days, however, it wasn’t until the mid 1970’s when the brothers reunited
and started performing together again. With Ed Wagner, an accomplished pianist,
they formed what became known as Belko Brass. Their style of blending the
trumpet-trombone-keyboard is unique. In 1990, trumpeter Mark Johnson joined the
group, enhancing the brass sound.
For over 25 years, Belko Brass has shared their music throughout North
America performing in concerts, camp meetings, and weekend church rallies. In
addition, they have traveled throughout the world with various evangelists,
staying true to the mission of Belko Brass which is to share the love of Jesus
through their music ministry.
