  Janine Max

Janine is a New Zealander by birth and has also spent much of her childhood in Fiji and Papua New Guinea as the daughter of missionary parents. Janine studied at Avondale College, Australia and became a Registered Nurse before moving to Christchurch, New Zealand where she married Clinton Max, a High School English Teacher and graphic designer. They have two children, Ethan and Ebony, and currently live near Lake Macquarie, north of Sydney, Australia.
Janine began writing children’s music in 1998 and has now produced three maxiPraise albums as well as two cassettes for the evangelistic satellite series, Jesus 2000. Each album features the enthusiastic group of young singers - The maxiPraise Kids!
Janine’s music is known not just for being enjoyable but for the meaningful message that appeals to a wide range of ages.
Janine has a vision for an inter-generational church where Gods children of any age, empowered by the Holy Spirit, are fully involved in worship, ministry and mission and have a close relationship with Jesus. The music of maxiPraise is now used in schools, churches, Sabbath Schools and Sunday Schools across Australia, New Zealand, throughout the South Pacific islands and as far away as Lebanon, Canada and even Sweden!
The new SDA Gracelink curriculum for Sabbath Schools includes songs from the first maxiPraise album, ‘God made me’ and these are published by Review & Herald in a new Beginners songbook for worldwide distribution.
Janine and the maxiPraise kids have performed concerts for kids at camp meetings, Carols programs, regional days and churches as well as singing for music festivals and uplinked satellite programs.
Janine Max has also presented seminars for children’s leaders at Interdenominational Children’s Ministries Expos in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Japan. Janine gives all the glory to God for His miraculous leading in her life and in the ministry of maxiPraise.
