A self-proclaimed ""work-a-holic,"" Marvin Moore is the hardworking editor of Signs of the Times magazine, and a prolific author with more than 20 books to his credit. If he's not writing, Marvin is on an airplane en-route to one of his many appointments as a seminar speaker. Marvin's knowledge of Bible prophecy and end-time events keep him in constant demand as a speaker at churches and camp meetings in the U.S. and internationally.
Prior to his career in editing and writing, Marvin worked as a pastor for 15 years in California and Texas.
He earned an MA degree in Church History from Andrews University in 1961 and and M.Div. degree in 1969 from the same university. Later, in 1974, he earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing degree from the University of Dallas.
For fun, Marvin and his wife Lois enjoy hiking (""especially day hikes--I like my comfortable bed too much to do overnight backpacking!""), snow skiing, and cruising around the desert in his Toyota 4Runner.
Interesting bookThis book by Marvin Moore talks about politics and how they have evolved in the last 400 years. I enjoy Moore's style of writing and am fascinated by the reasons he gives for the Adventist's theory on the Mark of the Beast. There is validity to our church's perspective and this book does a good job laying that out from a political point of view.
