When Jesus walked the earth, He did not draw lessons from flying and aerodynamics because people had little knowledge of such things two thousand years ago. But no doubt Jesus would have used lessons from the experiences of pilots if they had existed in His day. Instead, He used the activities of the sower, the builder, the fisherman, the housewife, and the merchant to help us understand a lesson of divine truth.
