AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY:

Roxy Hoehn

Roxy Hoehn grew up in a Seventh-day Adventist home and early on was taught respect for church leaders. Through the years in the classroom or on Sabbath morning she enjoyed reading and telling stories of Adventist pioneers. Growing up in Canada in a writer's home, putting pen to paper seemed natural.

During her teen years in Texas Roxy met her minister husband, Jim, and has enjoyed living in several parts of the United States. She is presently the Women's Ministries Director for the Kansas-Nebraska Conference.

great summary of sda fathers

This is just right for elementary-aged kids. I used this for Adventurer Club to help teach "Early Adventist Pioneers" award (Builders) and for the Ellen White story requirement for Eager Beavers. I, myself, learned a lot about church history through this short book.
