AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY:

Borge Schantz


Borge Schantz, PhD, served for 47 years within the global Adventist church as a pastor, evangelist, field president, divisional departmental director, teacher, and head of the Theology Department at Newbold College. He worked in Denmark, Faroe Islands, Sierra Leone, Nigerian, Lebanon and Cyprus. He was the founding director of the Seventh-day Adventist Global Center for Islamic Studies and authored and edited several books and articles on Church Growth, Islamics, and Missiology. Dr. Schantz died suddenly on December 12, 2014 in his native Denmark. He was 83.

 
AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY:

Steven Thompson


Steven Thompson, PhD, was born and raised in the United States. His wife, Kristin, is Norwegian and together they have served the past 42 years in pastoral ministry in Scotland and England. He has also served in educational ministry at Newbold College, England, as Theology lecturer and Principal, and also at Avondale College in Australia where he served as head of Theology. Dr. Thompson is now semi-retired and enjoys supervising research students writing their dissertations in his favorite field: biblical studies.
