
Herbert E. Douglass
Herbert E. Douglass, a leading Adventist theologian, administrator and prolific author, served as president of Atlantic Union College (1967-70), president of Weimar Institute (1985-92), and associate editor of what is today the Adventist Review (1970-76). He wrote more than 25 books and scores of magazine articles centered around his favorite topics of Jesus as our example, Ellen G. White as the Lord’s messenger to God’s remnant church, and the preparation of people for Jesus’ soon return. He died after a long illness on December 15, 2014 at age 87.

timely This book deals with final events . Mathew 24 specially how present headlines are the fulfillment of bible prophecy . After reading this book , I realized that we are indeed living in the last days and we need to place ourselves under the total control of our heavenly Father so we will not be deceived . |

News This book in large part was news and statistics. I really appreciated the information given, but was left wondering how the information fit into prophecy. I would have liked that to be more clearly stated. It was not an uplifting book and the language usage was a bit hard to follow. |
