Quick Overview

Campbell and Lake have created a practical educational tool by exploring the words, and phrases that she used. Both the novice as well as the serious student will want to have this guide handy while reading her writings.

Stephen R. Guptill, president

Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies

It is incumbent upon church leaders and institutional administrators to keep Ellen White’s writings before the members in their messages and their communications. They constantly search for means and resources to support their efforts. This pocket dictionary will prove to be of great value in this regard. May God bless its use.

Ella Simmons, vice-president

General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists

A positive and helpful resource containing a wealth of valuable information. I enjoyed reading it.

Nikolaus Satelmajer, former associate ministerial secretary and editor, Ministry, General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists

Keep this small volume at hand whenever you seek more insight from Ellen White’s writings! After a brief intro to Ellen White’s life, times, and purpose, authors Campbell and Lake get right to the book’s core—an alphabetic list of definitions/explanations for hundreds of words or phrases of uncertain meaning in our twenty-first century culture. Great resource for scholars, students, and laity alike.
